'Chateau de Planchevienne' is located in the department of 'La Nièvre'(58) in the southwestern part of Burgundy. A few kilometers drive south and you will reach the 'Auvergne'. This beautiful region has a lot to offer.

'Chateau de Planchevienne' is at 10 km to the south from Nevers on the A77 motorway, 40km from Moulins and 20 km from Decize. These three cities are definitely worth a visit. The river "La Loire" wends its way lazily through beautiful countryside four miles towards the north.
You can visit one of the most beautiful villages of France, "Apremont' at a 10 km drive. This village was built on the banks of the Allier. The boats sail in an aquaduct to cross the Allier.
